The Metabo GE 710 Compact is a powerful yet short-body die grinder designed for precision work in the workshop and on site. The 710 W Marathon motor with patented dust protection delivers strong pull-through power and long service life, even in dusty conditions. Vario Constamatic (VC) electronics let you adjust the speed between 13 000 and 34 000 rpm to suit the material and keep it almost constant under load, while a separate speed selection button allows you to preselect the ideal setting for repetitive tasks.

Electronic motor shutdown in case the accessory jams, restart protection after a power interruption and electronic overload protection all contribute to a high level of safety. The slim, ergonomic housing and low weight of only 1.4 kg make the tool easy to control even during prolonged use. A high-precision collet with 6 mm capacity ensures excellent concentricity for burrs, rotary files and mounted points. The 43 mm collar allows the GE 710 Compact to be clamped in a stand for stationary use, turning it into a small bench grinder for fine finishing and toolmaking work.
