The Metabo KS 85 FS is a heavy-duty jobsite saw designed for framing, roofing and processing thick boards. Its 2000 W motor delivers up to 4500 rpm no-load speed, providing fast cuts through solid timber, laminated beams and stacked boards. With 85 mm cutting depth at 90° and 65 mm at 45°, most standard structural dimensions can be cut in a single pass; using a guide rail, the saw still offers up to 80 mm depth. The KS 85 FS sits directly on guide rails from Mafell, Bosch, Festool, Makita, HiKOKI, Hilti and others, and can be combined with Metabo’s KFS cross-cut guide (accessory) for very quick, accurate end and angle cuts.

A lightweight yet rigid die-cast aluminium base plate and the included precise double aluminium rail make handling large workpieces easier. The soft-grip handle and clearly visible cutting indicator help you follow the marking line reliably, while the adjustable 0° stop ensures truly square cuts. The rotatable, lockable chip ejection nozzle lets you direct chips away from the user in any working position and connects to a universal vacuum for dust extraction. Carbon brushes with automatic shutdown protect the motor by signalling when they need replacement. Supplied with a 235 mm 24-tooth carbide blade, aluminium rail, hex key and plastic carry case, the KS 85 FS is ready for demanding professional use.
