The SBE 800-2 is built for heavy-duty installation and renovation work where you need both high torque and high speed. Its 2-speed gearbox lets you choose a powerful low gear for large-diameter holes and a fast high gear for smaller bits and screwdriving. The robust 800 W motor delivers drilling capacities of up to 20 mm in masonry, 18 mm in concrete, 13/8 mm in steel and 40/25 mm in softwood (1st/2nd gear). Vario (V) electronics with speed preselection allow precise speed matching to each material, while the impact mechanism with up to 51 200 blows per minute ensures rapid progress in mineral substrates.

The Metabo S-automatic safety clutch mechanically disengages the drive if the bit jams, protecting both user and gearbox. Forward/reverse rotation and the 6.35 mm hex socket spindle make screwdriving with bits possible even without the chuck, turning the drill into a powerful driver when needed. The Futuro Plus keyless chuck holds 1.5–13 mm bits securely and speeds up bit changes, and the 43 mm collar allows mounting in a drill stand for accurate series drilling. With a 4.1 m cable, ergonomic soft-grip handle, side handle and depth stop, the SBE 800-2 is a reliable all-round impact drill for electricians, installers, builders and serious DIY users.
