DUST PRIMER is a water-thinnable, colourless deep-penetrating primer based on acrylic dispersion, designed for binding dust and preparing mineral surfaces for further finishing. The primer effectively binds dust left on surfaces after previous construction stages, strengthens the substrate and helps even out surface absorbency. This is especially important before painting, as a more uniformly prepared surface improves adhesion of the following coating layers and can reduce paint consumption.
The primer is suitable for interior and exterior use on concrete, brick, plastered surfaces, plasterboard and other mineral substrates. It can be applied with a brush, roller or spray equipment, allowing the user to choose the most suitable method according to the surface type and working conditions. Water is used for thinning and cleaning tools, making the product convenient for everyday use and maintenance.
For interior concrete or plastered surfaces, as well as construction elements not exposed to severe atmospheric conditions, DUST PRIMER can also be used as an independent coating. In this case, it improves surface durability and gives the surface hydrophobic properties. The primer dries in approximately 1 hour at +20 °C and 50% relative air humidity. It should be stored in tightly closed original packaging at temperatures above +5 °C.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Heavily dusty surfaces must be cleaned beforehand using a suitable brush. New concrete surfaces should be freed from the cement/lime laitance layer. For concrete surface preparation before painting, follow the relevant separate preparation instructions.
PREPARATION FOR USE
The primer is supplied ready for use and does not require dilution.
APPLICATION
Apply 1–2 coats to dry surfaces using a brush, roller or spray equipment. During application, the air temperature and the temperature of the surface to be coated must not be below +5 °C. Relative air humidity must not exceed 85%.
CLEANING OF TOOLS
Clean tools with water immediately after use.
OCCUPATIONAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY
When working with this product, observe the following precautions:
– work in a well-ventilated area;
– use personal protective equipment, such as safety goggles, a respirator and gloves.
Avoid inhaling spray mist. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical advice. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately and show the product packaging or label.
