FORAKRIL BASE is a ready-to-use, water-thinnable deep-penetrating primer based on acrylic dispersion, designed for preparing mineral surfaces before painting. It is suitable for concrete, brick, plastered surfaces, plasterboard and other mineral substrates in both interior and exterior applications. The primer penetrates into the surface, strengthens the upper layer, evens absorbency and helps achieve a more uniform following coating layer.

The product reduces water absorption of painted surfaces while maintaining high vapour permeability. This is especially important for façades and mineral constructions where moisture control and surface breathability are required. FORAKRIL BASE improves adhesion of following paint coats, reduces paint consumption and increases the strength of the primed surface.

Apply the primer to clean, dry surfaces using a brush, roller, spray equipment or airless spraying system. The product does not require dilution and is ready for use. At +20 °C and 50% relative humidity, the surface becomes tack-free after approximately 0.5 hours, while repainting is possible after approximately 1 hour. When FORAKRIL BASE is used as an independent coating in interior applications, 2 coats are recommended to improve surface strength and hydrophobic properties.
