The Metabo G 400 is a professional die grinder for workshops, metal fabrication and assembly work where precise finishing is required. The 380 W motor delivers up to 30 000 rpm no-load speed and 12 400 rpm under rated load, providing plenty of cutting speed for fine grinding and light milling. The long grinding spindle gives excellent access into recesses, slots and difficult corners where conventional grinders cannot reach, while the slim, ergonomic body ensures secure handling with one or two hands.

A 43 mm neck allows the tool to be clamped in a stand for stationary use, turning it into a small bench grinder for delicate operations. The standard 6 mm collet accepts a wide range of burrs, mounted points and grinding accessories. The removable rubber nose cap improves grip and protects the workpiece edges during guiding. With a low weight of only 1.5 kg and a 2.55 m power cable, the G 400 offers very good manoeuvrability for installation work and fine finishing.

Typical applications include deburring cut edges, cleaning and shaping welds, precision grinding of small components and toolmaking work. Supplied with 6 mm collet, two open-ended spanners and rubber protection cap, the tool is ready for immediate use.
