Its 1700 W Marathon motor with patented dust protection provides up to 20% higher overload capacity and 50% more torque than conventional motors, making it ideal for intensive cutting, grinding and surface preparation.

Tacho Constamatic (TC) full-wave electronics maintain nearly constant speed under load, ensuring fast progress and consistent results. The Metabo M-Quick system allows rapid disc changes without tools – just press the button and loosen the nut. The guard can be adjusted and locked without tools for safe operation in various working positions.

The low-vibration Metabo VibraTech (MVT) side handle reduces operator fatigue during prolonged use. The Metabo S-automatic mechanical safety clutch minimises kickback if the disc jams, improving user safety and allowing you to resume work quickly. Electronic overload protection, soft start and restart protection after a power interruption further protect both user and machine.
