The BS 18 LTX-3 BL Q I Metal is a professional 18 V drill driver engineered for intensive metal fabrication, installation and assembly work. Its brushless motor delivers outstanding efficiency and durability, providing up to 65 Nm torque in soft and 130 Nm in hard materials, as well as 65 Nm in impulse mode for stubborn fasteners. The adjustable torque range from 1 to 18 Nm with Precision Stop electronic control enables accurate screwdriving in thin sheet metal and threaded joints without damaging threads.

A three-speed gearbox with 0–450, 0–2000 and 0–4000 rpm greatly extends the application range – from powerful driving to extremely fast drilling, especially in steel. Drilling capacity is up to 16 mm in steel and 68 mm in soft wood, allowing this tool to cover jobs that would normally require several machines. The heavy-duty Futuro Top QuickPlus 1.5–13 mm metal keyless chuck offers excellent concentricity and a re-tightening function to prevent bit slippage under maximum load.

Metabo Quick enables rapid changes of chuck and accessories, while the selectable impulse mode helps break loose rusted screws and spot-drill on smooth surfaces. Overload protection and electronic safety shutdown safeguard the motor and operator if the bit suddenly jams. The integrated LED work light with night-light function keeps the work area clearly visible, and the auxiliary handle ensures safe control at high torque levels. A practical belt hook with bit holder can be mounted on either side. Supplied as a body-only tool in a cardboard box, without battery or charger, the BS 18 LTX-3 BL Q I Metal is fully compatible with all 18 V Li-Ion/LiHD battery packs in the CAS system.
