The BS 18 LTX-3 BL I Metal is a professional 18 V drill driver designed for heavy-duty metal fabrication and structural woodworking. Its brushless motor delivers up to 65 Nm torque in soft and 130 Nm in hard materials, as well as 65 Nm in impulse mode for stubborn fasteners. Adjustable torque from 1 to 18 Nm with Precision Stop electronic control ensures accurate screwdriving in sheet metal and threaded joints without damaging threads or workpieces.

The 3-speed gearbox with 0–450, 0–2000 and 0–4000 rpm greatly extends the application range – from powerful driving to very fast drilling, especially in steel up to 16 mm and soft wood up to 68 mm. The heavy-duty 1.5–13 mm metal keyless chuck provides excellent concentricity and a re-tightening function to prevent bit slippage under high load, giving clean and precise holes. The selectable impulse mode helps to loosen seized screws and to spot-drill on smooth surfaces such as steel plates or tiles.

Overload protection and electronic safety shutdown protect the motor and operator when the bit suddenly jams. An integrated LED work light with night-light function illuminates the work area in dark or confined spaces. A practical belt hook and bit holder can be mounted on either side of the tool, while the auxiliary handle provides safe control at high torque. Supplied as a body-only tool in a cardboard box without battery and charger, the BS 18 LTX-3 BL I Metal is fully compatible with all 18 V Li-Ion/LiHD battery packs in the CAS system.
