The Metabo WEA 17-150 Quick delivers maximum productivity while offering outstanding comfort and safety in demanding applications. Its 1700 W Marathon motor with patented dust protection provides up to 20% higher overload capacity and 50% more torque, making it ideal for heavy-duty grinding and cutting of steel, stainless steel and other tough materials. Tacho Constamatic (TC) full-wave electronics keep the speed constant at 9600 rpm under load for consistent cutting performance and fast material removal.

The Metabo M-Quick system allows completely tool-free disc changes – simply press the button to release the clamping nut. The adjustable guard can be set without tools and locks securely in place. The Metabo VibraTech (MVT) side handle together with the integrated autobalancer offers one of the lowest vibration levels in its class, significantly reducing strain on the operator and extending the service life of both the machine and the grinding discs. The Metabo S-automatic mechanical safety clutch minimises kickback to the lowest level on the market if the disc jams, protecting both user and tool.

Electronic overload protection, soft start and restart protection after power failure further increase safety on site and in the workshop. The gear housing can be rotated by 90° for left-handed operation or for more comfortable cutting positions. Auto-stop carbon brushes protect the motor at the end of their service life. With a 150 mm disc, 4.3 Nm torque, 4 m power cable and 2.5 kg weight (without cable), the WEA 17-150 Quick is a robust, low-vibration choice for demanding industrial metalworking.
