The Metabo PowerMaxx BS Basic is a versatile 12 V cordless drill driver designed for everyday installation, finishing and maintenance work. Its very compact body and low weight reduce fatigue in overhead or confined applications, while the rubberised grip provides secure and comfortable handling. The set includes two 2.0 Ah Li-Ion battery packs, so you can keep working with one battery while the other is on charge, ensuring minimal downtime.

A two-speed gearbox delivers up to 360 rpm for controlled screwdriving and up to 1400 rpm for efficient drilling. Maximum torque is 17 Nm in soft and 34 Nm in hard materials, with a fine torque adjustment range from 0.5 to 5 Nm to protect screws and workpieces from damage. The tool drills up to 10 mm in steel and up to 18 mm in soft wood, covering most common fixing and installation tasks in construction and renovation.

The spindle features a 1/4" hexagon recess allowing screwdriver bits to be used directly, without the chuck, which shortens the tool and speeds up work. The removable 1–10 mm keyless chuck lets you switch from drilling to screwdriving within seconds. An integrated LED work light illuminates the working area, while the robust plastic carry case keeps the drill, batteries, charger and accessories organised and protected during transport.
